Help Desk

HelpAge India is providing Help Desk service i.e. its Wheel Chair and other assistive devices (aged friendly equipment services)at locations visited by senior citizens but not explored fully due to their physical limitations. Such services have been made available in Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla, Pudducherry. In India, the services are available during India International Trade Fair, Delhi and World Book Fair. In Chandigarh, volunteers man the wheelchairs in Sector 17 market. In Shimla, senior citizens can access the wheechairs at Mall Road and in at the Marine Walk in Pudducherry. The services/facilities are available free of cost and are handled by volunteers.
